Behavioral Health Center Family Support Group
This meeting is open to family members of patients who have received treatment on the Behavioral Health inpatient unit. This group is time-limited. For more information, please call (229) 312-4960. 

 

Bereavement Support Group
Albany Community Hospice has support groups for individuals who have lost a loved one. These are offered primarily for our patient's families but are also open to the community. There is no charge for attending and the group meets once a week for eight weeks. Registration is required. For more information or to register, please call (229) 312-7050.

Breast Cancer Support Group 
This group is open to and offers support for women with breast cancer. The group meets on the second Thursday of each month from Noon - 1:45 p.m. in the Radiation Oncology Conference Room at Phoebe. The support group is free of charge. For more information, please call (229) 312-0042.

Camp Good Grief
This is an annual event. It is scheduled for June 2-3, 2010. The event will be held at Potter's Community Center. This event is for children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Caregiver Support Group
This group is open to those providing support to patients suffering from sreious illness. This group meets the third Wednesday of every month from Noon - 1 p.m. This support group is free of charge. For more information, please call (229) 312-2305.

 

Facing Cancer with Love and Laughter
Group support for anyone affected by cancer. The group meets the second Monday of each month from Noon - 1 p.m. in the Radiation Oncology Conference Room at Phoebe. This support group is free of charge. Call (229) 312-2305 for more information.

 

Grief Support Group
This group is open to anyone in the community who has experienced the death of a loved one. The group meets six consecutive Tuesday evenings and is offered four times per year. This support group is free of charge. For more information, please call (229) 312-7050.

 

Journey Support Group
This group is open to teenagers who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. This group meets quarterly and provides interactive activities that give the teens an opportunity to talk about thier loss and grief. This group is free of charge. Kids to Kids Support Group
This group is open to children who are in the first through fifth grade who have experienced the death of a family member or friend. This group meets quarterly and provides interactive activities that give the kids an opportunity to talk about their loss and grief. This group is free of charge. Men's Support Group

Pocket Angels Support Group
