Phoebe's Ambulatory Infusion Center provides outpatients with a convenient, comfortable and caring setting for receiving medication.
For those who require intravenous therapy and prefer the option of receiving treatment in an outpatient clinical setting, the ambulatory infusion center offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages. Your care team includes registered nurses, dieticians, pharmacists and clinical pharmacy technicians who closely monitor your treatment. Members of the care team are always there to answer questions and provide for your comfort during treatment.
The center provides outpatient infusion therapy on a routine scheduled basis and can also accommodate urgent requests.
The clinics operate 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some infusion services are offered on the weekend, and on-call services for PICC placement are provided on weekends and after normal office hours. Consultation services for our patients and families are always available on request.
Available infusion services include:
- antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal therapy
- anti-coagulants
- blood, blood products and blood derivatives (IVIG)
- cardiac support therapy
- hydration therapy
- injections
- insertion and removal of IV devices
- Remicide therapy
- therapeutic phlebotomy
- wound care
Infusion nurses also cover the PICC placement team for inpatients and outpatients being treated throughout the hospital.
