For some children, life begins with a challenge to achieve strength and good health. The Phoebe Physical Medicine Center has devoted a special program for these youngsters. Therapists perform an evaluation to determine the appropriate rehabilitation program for our patients. If necessary, therapists will observe a child at school in order to get a thorough understanding of the treatment the child needs. Since "play is child's work," therapists make sure play is incorporated into the child's rehabilitation program. Parent education is also a priority and is available as a part of a total rehabilitation program.
